Location
The Leidseplein is one minute away, and the Kerkstraat area is around the corner; it's a few minutes walk to the Vondelpark, and to the Museum plein. From the Reguliersdwars area it's about 10 minutes walk away, or a short cab ride. It's also around the corner from Thermos sauna.
From CS Area: Tram no. 1, 2 or 5. The tram is in front of Central Station; get off at the stop Leidse Plein. Around the corner of the City Theatre, you will find Hotel Freeland

I have stayed here twice
and I will definitely
stay again. The
accommodations are
simple, clean and the
staff are very friendly.
I love the Dutch
breakfast every morning.
Very close to everywhere
I needed to get to and
real close to
transportation. Great
Place.. had big fun there!!!
this hotel feels like
home... enjoyed it very
much, will certainly be
back... in the middle of
gay areas, sauna around
the corner... extremely
friendly hosts
great hotel that I
started to visit a lot...
french spoken as well and
great owners (hi Pascale
and Rick!!) Don't

i went to hotel freeland
in february. first of
all, the location of the
hotel is perfect. it is 1
minute walking to
leidseplein, which is a
touristy but still a nice
area. it is not too
touristic like the red
light district area and
very close to nice clubs,
coffeeshops, museums,
etc. the hotel is a very
good budget, is almost
the same price with
hostels. but it
certainly is more
comfo......

I would recommend this
hotel to anyone . They
are extremely friendly,
the rooms are clean. The
price of the rooms very
reasonable.
Very cozy old european
place, lots of character.
I would rebook a room
here with no hesitations.
In fact we will be back
next year in the second
week of april.
