Location
The ITC Hotel is located in a beautiful neighbourhoud just a few doors from many restaurants, markets, cafés and bars at the Prinsengracht 1051 (see map below). We are just 5 minutes walk from Rembrandplein and 8 minutes from Kerkstraat, the two main gay areas of Amsterdam. Although in the heart of old Amsterdam, this neighbourhood is quiet and safe.

Nearest Gay Areas: Amstel Area, Reguliersdwarsstraat Area and Kerkstraat Area
From CS Area: Take tram 4 at Central station and get of at the 'prinsengracht' stop or take the 20,14,4 trams to 'Rembrandsplein' and walk two minutes to the hotel taking the 'Utrechtsestraat'. take a right at 'Prinsengracht'
From Airport: After arriving at Schiphol Airport you can take a taxi or train. The train (av. Eur. 10,- for a ticket) takes you to Central Station, also the last stop for the boat train from Hoek van Holland. Take tram nr.4 in front of the station (Av. Eur. 3,-) to the Prinsengracht stop. You will see the hotel, 30 metres from the tramstop on the right side. If you have a lot of luggage you may be prefer to take a taxi from Central Station, which will cost you approx. Eur. 8,-. A taxi from Schiphol Airport to the hotel will cost about Eur. 35,-.

| Clean room, clean sheets,
warm and comfortable
beds, ideally situated.
Don't book yourself into
an Amsterdam 2 star hotel
in an old Canal House and
then expect the same
services found in a 5
star Marriott.Would I
stay there again ? YES.
Oh and as for the 24 hour
gay channel- ours was
working, but then why go
to Amsterdam and spend
all your time watching
porn in your hotel room?? |
