Amistad is always trying to improve and offer more then the usual hotels, and is a popular place to stay for the gay traveler, known for its stylish, modern, clean and comfortable rooms with many extras.
You have a choice of three different room types. Deluxe rooms with luxurious private bathtub/shower and toilet. Ensuite rooms have a modern bath with shower and toilet. The standard rooms are nicely furnished with private sink, and share shower and toilet (3 rooms share 2 toilets and 2 showers). All rooms have comfortable beds, either double or twin, refrigerator with mini bar, cable TV, direct dial phone, private safes, coffee and tea service and now even your private personal computer with internet connection.
Amistad is right in the heart of Gay Amsterdam, you can walk to all the gay bars, clubs and saunas. Most of the museums are just minutes away from the hotel. They even have a private boat, to give you a unforgettable boat tour on Amsterdam?s famous canals.
At the Amistad breakfast is included at no extra charge and served till 1 p.m. especially for the late sleepers. Amistad has a focus for service and personal attention, they go to the utmost to make your stay memorable.

Amistad also offer apartments in the neighbourhood, for those who want to settle in like the Dutch.

Hi I came the first time
to Amsterdam. Found
Amistad hotel on this
site. For me it was a
very nice time. The room
was very nice with
computer in the room and
for free. I saw this
never befor. The staff
was very cute and
helpful. They realy helpt
me to explore the city. I
can recoment this hotel
for everybody! thanks a
lot you guys, will be

Unless you are planning a
stay of at least 4 nights
don't bother contacting
this hotel... This
minimum stay period is a
little strange when lots
of people want to visit
for the weekend (usually
2-3 nights). The hotel
was not prepared to be
flexible to even quote
for a 3 night stay!  |

I have stayed at the
Amistad on many occasions
over the last few years
and find it to be an
extremely friendly, well
run, clean and
comfortable place to
stay. The rates are very
reasonable (but increased
slightly from the ones
shown on your website!)
and the management and
staff make visitors feel
very welcome.
Certainly, I would have
no hesitation in
recommending the Amistad
Hote...... |
